This product does not state that it is an all natural product but the ingredients do not seem to include any sulphates or parabens. This lotion is mainly for face application but can also stand in for an all over body moisturizer which is great. I myself have never attempted to use my face moisturizer as a body lotion so I will not try that ability. However, using this face lotion is great. It is not greasy and does not irritate my sensitive combination skin. I use this lotion only on mornings because my night routine is different. I cleanse face and apply toner & serum, once that has been absorbed I apply this moisturizer. My face does not get dry throughout the day which is good because I am not one to reapply anything at any point in the day. This 1.7oz bottle can last long depending on how much you use and usually these products do not require more than a short squeeze. Overall you will be satisfied with this product and with continued use you will see improvements in your skin.

Natural Refresh Toner by Foxbrim - Review

Toners are a great to use in your daily beauty routine to cleanse, tone and prep your face. Foxbrim creates a toner with a witch hazel base in the ingredients which is great for daily skin care.

The ingredients include:

• Witch hazel
• Vitamin C
• Aloe Vera
• Yucca
• Sage
• Pomegranate
• Kelp
• Cranberry

This toner is all natural and alcohol free which is great because alcohol dries up my skin so much. Once I cleanse (wash) my face on a morning, apply my serum then spray the toner and lastly my moisturizer. This toner has aided in preventing the creation of new acne on my face which is always plus. I can not say that this little bottle is a must have for all because we all do not have the same issues. I stopped using make up because it broke my skin out crazy regardless of the type I used and I absolutely hated the layers. With adding the toner to my regimen, I am able to apply a bit of bronzer without any issues. This may not be true for many but it is true for me and I will continue using this toner in my morning routine whether or not I apply makeup. Witch hazel helps tighten pores and reduce inflammation and aloe vera hydrates skin. Free from any parabens or additives, this toner is a must for those you want to add a great product to their daily beauty routine. Available on Amazon.

Body Merry's Stretch Mark & Scars Defense Cream {Review}

Body Merry introduces their Stretch Mark & Scars Defense Cream which include array of organic ingredients. These ingredients include an organic herbal mix, organic aloe vera leaf juice, organic cocoa butter, organic castor oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil and more. It also has vitamin E, vitamin B3 and B5 and vitamin C which helps to visibly reduce the appearance of stretch marks. The combination of these plant oils and vitamins in this cream is hydrating and moisturizing to the touch.


This cream is thick and smooths on easily on the affected area and actually has a rather pleasant scent. It is to be used twice daily for maximum results and rubbed into skin until completely absorbed. Body Merry products are free from harsh chemicals such as parabens and sulphates and like others this cream is free from them also.

This 4oz jar can last depending on how much that is used and how large the affected area is. You will see improvement in your skin within the first 2 weeks of use (at least that is how it worked for me).

Body Merry's Retinol Surge Moisturizer

Body Merry presents their Retinol Surge Moisturizer that I have been using for a little while now because I just like it. Made using ingredients such as organic aloe vera, sunflower oil, derived hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil makes this moisturizer great.

Retinol has been proven over the years to be very effective in the prevention and reduction of wrinkles. This moisturizer is light weight although the texture is rather thick. You need only to use less than a dime for your entire face and neck. If you have normal to oily skin this can be used both day and night. If you have more sensitive skin limit your use to either once day or night or even every other night.

The combination of the ingredients give your face a fresh and radiant look. I use this product only during the morning hours after cleansing, applying toner and serum. My face remains smooth through out the day and I have no issues with irritation as retinol can be a little bit of an issue for first time users. Another plus that I love for this moisturizer is that it is free from parabens, sulphates and is not tested on animals.

In this book Terry goes camping with his family and finds an egg while spying in the grass.He begins his quest of finding who the egg belongs too. The book helps kids learn about the outdoors and animals such as turtles,alligators, frogs and more and how they take care of their unborn. The author (Tali Carmi) also rhymes the entire story which makes it even more fun for the kids to read. After reading it to my son, he was able to tell me more about the animals and their habitat and also not to give up when you want to do something. Terry Treetop remains patient through out the search to locate the owner of the egg and was very excited when he helped the egg get back home. Your kid is going to love this book and it also filled with lots of pictures (which kids love) to help their imagination run wild. This book is great for Grade 1 beginner readers and up although it states Pre-K students I believe it is a bit too advanced for them.

InstaWave by KISS - {Review}

INSTAWAVE BY KISS

KISS is known for the renowned line of nail care products but have recently expanded their line into other beauty products. Today I will be reviewing the InstaWave Automatic Curler from KISS. This new curler is revolutionary and innovative in creating beautiful curls with a touch of a button.

This curler creates lasting curls without the need of a professional. This curler features a 4" curling rod, 2 settings (low & high) and goes up to the maximum of 420 degrees. Since I no longer have the hair to try this out I recruited my cousin to help. This was so easy to use when I did it for her and when she used it herself that it is almost perfect for anyone. 

I have embedded a simple demonstration video that simplifies the use of the InstaWave automatic curler. 

For me, this was a showstopper just because of its simplicity. The one button touch control, the ability to curl toward or away from your face and also how quickly the curl was created. The curler also automatically shuts off after 90 minutes so you can feel assured that your hair can be curled in under an hour (imagine waiting to be styled at the hairdresser and no longer having to go through that). The InstaWave Automatic Curler retails at $59.99 and can be found at many retailers.

Green Earth Pan -- OZERI

You would think I would start this blog post and say " another non stick pan, will it work?" but I wont. I wanted to give this pan a new outlook on how I feel about non-stick pans which for some reason never work well for me. So to start, it came in a rather attractive box, singled out and stating that it was the Green Earth Pan.

From the packaging it states the size I received (8" pan) and that it featured Greblon.

What is GREBLON? Well after doing some research, it is non stick technology used on cookware. It is a natural ceramic coating that creates a non stick base that is free of any PTFE, PFOA and/or harmful chemicals.

I am assuming this is the basis of the name, GREEN EARTH PAN. One thing, I absolutely love is the textured ceramic coating of the pan surface. This helps in preventing the food from sticking to the bottom. This pan is also eco-friendly, safe, scratch resistant and extremely durable.This allows you to use very little oil with your cooking, which makes cleaning up very easy. With that said, OZERI really has made a product built to last and in my opinion worth every penny.

Inside the box also comes this protector that is so neat to me because it was unexpected and cute. This protector prevents any scratching and any contact to the ceramic coating when the pan is stacked among others. We all do it, stack pots and pans on top each other or inside one another.

The bottom of the pan is also elevated so the heat is distributed evenly for even better cooking. This pan can be used on both flame stoves and induction stoves and it will still provide quality.

When I used this pan, I made french toast and scrambled eggs for my family of 4. Normally, it would take long for me to finish, everything for everyone so by the time I am done the french toast is usually cold. Urghhh.. First noticeable difference was the time I spent on frying the french toast, It took under a minute on both sides, that I actually left it longer (did not burn) to make sure that it cooked all the way through. I did 10 french toast in 15 minutes and that included prep time. I must say I was proud of myself, but I can not take the credit because this pan cooked so well. I was able to just wipe off the pan and fry the eggs without adding any extra oil. This has to be the quickest I have prepared breakfast for my family.

This Green Earth Pan by Ozeri comes highly recommended by myself and I am sure by others that have used it. Right now on Amazon you can by the set of 3 pans (8", 10" & 12") for $66.00 and it is definitely worth it. Imagine that these pans are actually non stick without any toxins, durable, cooks quick and even easier to clean. This pan is a must have especially for the Christmas season for your cooking and ofcourse as a wonderful gift.

Stretch Mark & Scar Cream - By InstaNatural

I want to say first and foremost, that I have used InstaNatural products in the past and they have yet to fail me. I only let you know that first because I always have high expectation for a company that delivers good products, therefore I would be looking at the product I am reviewing even more carefully.

So today I am reviewing InstaNatural's Stretch Mark & Scar Cream (Prevention and Reduction). It is sold on Amazon.com for around $24.00 for the 5 fl oz bottle. Now I thought that the price was not attractive only because normally for the size it would run around $19.99 but then again stretch mark creams are in abundance and do not work as I have tried many after having my second kid.

Now I have had over 30 days to use this product and give my evaluation. Lets start with my overall feel ------- LOVE IT!!!... It started to show results quick. I have literally waited months for a product to show me results without success. This is not true for this cream, after a week or so I saw a difference. I used it predominantly on my tummy and butt and sometimes thighs.

This cream offered me a boost of confidence when I saw that the stretch marks appearance was reducing almost to the point that I felt comfortable in a 2-pc bathing suit again (ALMOST)... To start it contains many ingredients that are helpful in minimizing appearance and moisturizing your skin. From vitamin c, cocoa butter, rosehip oil, mango butter and aloe vera, your skin becomes more youthful and healthier. I have been applying morning and night and the results have only been getting better the longer I use.

Vitamin C Facial Toner from INSTANATURAL {Review}

InstaNatural as a brand has never disappointed me and hope they do not ever because I love their products. I recently started using their Vitamin C Facial Toner and it is just great to add to my morning beauty regime. This bottle contains natural and organic ingredients to help ensure that it does not irritate your skin with harsh chemicals.

This toner contains witch hazel and tea tree oil which helps in purifying my skin. Of course in its name it has vitamin C which renews and strengthen my skin from harsh weather conditions and pollution.

I spray this toner lightly in four (4) sections of my face right after I have washed it in the morning. I allow to dry with just a little bit of dampness left and then apply my hyaluronic serum and thereafter my favorite moisturizer.

Every step after spraying this toner becomes easier because I know that my skin has been hydrated and it definitely preps my skin for whatever comes next. This further helps with absorption of my serum, keeping my face moisturized throughout the day and prevents other pollutants from clogging my pores. Some people have said that toners dry their skin but this toner helps correct oily skin and combat my combination skin for use no matter what my skin decides to do that day. This toner lasts long and does not cost much and can be purchased via Amazon.

Dr. Song RoseHip Oil {Review}

Dr. Song Organic Rosehip Oil is one of the better rosehip oils that I have tried. Rosehip oil is great for many things, such as:

• Healing scars
• Reducing appearance of wrinkles
• Strengthen brittle nails
• Heal sun damaged skin
• Improve dry damaged hair
• Helps in healing rashes and burn scars.

The first time using rosehip oil, I was turned away by the strong unpleasant scent.  I have recently learned that the smell is from the extraction from the rose bush seeds and that there are no additives. Dr Song Medical has been able (my opinion) to still remain 100% organic and USDA certified but keep the scent not as strong, so this was a plus to me.

 

You are able to feel and see that the quality is amazing especially just by looking at the color of the oil. It is also light weight and when applied it is absorbed quickly without any greasy residue. I recently got a burn scar from melted cheese (go figure) and I have been applying the rosehip oil daily and within a few days I noticed the hairs on the scar growing back and the skin was healing quick. I may not like the scent but I do appreciate when something works to improve my skin without any added chemicals. Naturalico Firming Cellulite Cream {Review}

There are lots of cellulite reducing creams available but only a few I can say that can give you good results for your money. And Naturalico Firming Cellulite Cream is one of them. This cream will run you about $20.00 on Amazon.com for the 4 fl oz jar.

This cream has a off white color and has a light texture but not thick. This makes application easy and smooth. It does have a menthol scent but not as strong as others I have previously tried. Something that I do miss with this cellulite cream is that it does not have the sauna (icy hot) feel that I like. But this cream is still very effective in smoothing out your skin. You apply and rub into the targeted areas once or twice daily for it to be effective.

The ingredients contain a combination of retinol, caffeine and green tea which helps build collagen, renew skin and release stored fat under skin. Looking even deeper into the ingredients I noticed that it contained rosehip seed oil, peppermint oil, castor seed oil & orange oil, all of which I love for improving skin.

My KONJAC Sponge - {Review}

I do not think I have ever started a blog post like this but I LOOOVVVEEEE THIS KONJAC SPONGE!! This is not an understatement. Let us get the facts about this sponge:

I have used Konjac sponges in the past and they were good, nothing that I could complain about but this sponge was unique. On the packaging this is what it also claims:

OK now to my experience. This sponge is so easy to use. Soak for about 1 minute to soften the sponge (do not ever use hard) and gently massage in a circular motion then rinse after use. I use this sponge every night as a part of my night time face routine and it makes it so easy to exfoliate and cleanse skin. The feel after use is amazing. One of the things that I love also about it is that it does not shed like the others that I have used in the past. Anytime that my face is oily, it gently removes the oils and greats a smooth and healthy finish and look. With its natural antioxidants that fight acne, I am confident that it will continue in preventing acne.

I have never been really big on thriller books, I mainly read romance novels with a little bit of not of this world experiences. I took a while before I started the book because after reading the prelude it did not pull me in as much as I would like. But once I started I was glued to my subway sit for every ride, twice almost missing my stops.

The book introduces you to 3 women (Alona, Tamar & Nilli) that are best friends who work as lawyers at a prestige law firm. In comes Lior, an attractive, people pleaser who "looks" like he is absolutely perfect. Alona, who is married falls deep in love with him but was not willing to leave her husband/family for him. He moves on to Tamar who now believes that he can not do any wrong in her eyes. But before they are able to create their perfect union, he is murdered. Oh the agony you may think. This is where I believe the title "Almost Perfect" draws you in. This novel brings in so many characters that are all intertwined and deceived by the ones they love.

As the story unravels, the victim or victims may just be turning out to be the suspects or so we think. The author (Orly Krauss-Winer) invites you into their lives and while reading you feel like you are there, riding along every event whether it is in the now or in the past. The story then comes to life so amazingly when you think you have solved the mystery it takes a nose drive, and have you questioning the why, who and when. I give this book two thumbs up from beginning to end and it will keep you entertained and in suspense.

Pure African Shea Butter {Review}

Shea Butter has gained its popularity over the years especially with pregnant women because it helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks during and after pregnancy. It was my choice while I was pregnant with both my kids but to be honest it didn't do much. I soon found out that it was most effective in its purest form (100%). I was using products that mixed shea butter with lots of other chemicals, so therefore it was not as efficient.

Receiving 100% Pure African Shea Butter from Cleopatras Choice complimentary was definitely something to look forward to. I have a few stretch marks from my last pregnancy and thought they would "magically" disappear the same way they did in my first pregnancy. This was an opportunity to see if using shea butter in its purest form would make a difference. 

I have been using it twice a day and ensuring that I massage it into the skin in a circular motion. I honestly did not expect a difference because I am using this and expecting a change a year and a half after having my baby girl. 

My stretch marks have since started fading slowly and the skin appearance on my tummy appears less stretched out. It comes in its hardened form in a 1 lb plastic container with a resealable lid.  For the price on Amazon (around $12) the 1 lb tub is worth every penny and more. Being that it is in its hardened form, creating natural heat by rubbing it between the palms of your hands will melt it easily for application. It will smooth on a tad bit greasy but it is absorbed quickly into the skin within the minute.

My next task is to melt it to oil form and add it to my oil mixture for my hair. If anyone has tried I would love to know what they have found. I love it for my skin and will continue using it and expecting it to be a game changer for my skin during awful winter.

I am a bit old school cause I enjoy the scale with the knob that allows you to set it back to 0. I always felt that it would be more accurate if it ever was to fall out of balance. I am now testing out the WeightMaster Digital Bath Scale from Ozeri which holds up to 400lbs. This is a pretty nifty scale and was impressed with its features. Now it is just a scale but not any scale and you may be thinking what more features can a  scale have that would impress you.

• This scale allows you to set user profiles for up to 5 persons. Select your user (1-5), input your height and then step on the scale to record your weight.
• The scale displays your BMI (Body Mass Index) for each user every time you step on the scale. Your BMI is a calculated number using your weight and height that lets you know whether you are normal, under or over weight. 
• Every time a saved user steps on the scale and it reads the weight, you are able to see the changes in your weight, whether you have gained or lost weight. When you gain weight it glows red and if you lost weight it glows green.
• Every time a saved user also steps on the scale, it is able to identify that specific user without having to choose which user is on the scale.
