INSTANATURAL - Niacinamide Moisturizer Cream {Review}

InstaNatural as a brand has always brought quality products which have yet to disappoint. Once I got to try to this Moisturizer Cream of course I expected quality and results. A brief explanation on what the benefits of using Niacinamide are. Vitamin B3 also known as Niacinamide has been linked to eliminating wrinkles and fine lines and used by dermatologist in the treatment of acne.

InstaNatural has combined Vitamin B3 with organic aloe vera, avocado oil, vitamin e, rosemary & hyaluronic acid within this moisturizer to help firm, hydrate your skin while treating acne, wrinkles and fine lines.

 When applying only less than a pea size should be used. This cream is lightweight and very smooth in texture. It seems to expand when smoothing into face. So this 2fl oz bottle will last a long time even after applying twice a day. After applying you will feel a difference in the feel of your face and that is because it creates a barrier on skin surface to prevent damage from pollution and sun rays. With continuous application you will see signs of smoother and plumper skin.

InstaNatural Niacinamide Moisturizer Cream can be bought on Amazon** for around $17.00..

Moisturizing Day Cream by ADOVIA {Review}

Adovia Mineral Skin Care by Cleopatra's Choice has a Moisturizing Day Cream that has yet to disappoint me.

This daily moisturizer is filled with many benefits.  It can be used on all skin types and with my combination skin I never know if my face is going to be really dry or really oily. I wash/cleanse my face as usual every morning and apply this day cream. I use very little because its texture is pretty thick yet it smooths on really easily. I love how it feels after I have applied it and instantly can see the difference in how my skin looks. Although the texture of this cream is thick, it is not greasy and won't give you that oily look if you are wearing it alone. It also makes an excellent make up base which allows for a smoother finish. It keeps my face hydrated, smoother looking and feeling and I almost always wear it alone (not a huge fan of make up). Besides the instant gratification, this moisturizer has some of the best ingredients provided by nature.

To point out a few that I do appreciate are:

- Grape seed oil
- Chamomile extract
- Algae extract
- Papaya
- Aloe Vera
- Dead sea salt & minerals

Combined, these ingredients provide your face with the hydration it needs without clogging pores, all day moisture, and more calmer soothing the skin. Continued use of this moisturizer would help your skin regain control of its ability to retain moisture creating a natural continuous glow throughout the day.

This 1.7 fl. oz. jar sells for about $25.00 on Amazon*

Pure African Shea Butter {Review}

Shea Butter has gained its popularity over the years especially with pregnant women because it helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks during and after pregnancy. It was my choice while I was pregnant with both my kids but to be honest it didn't do much. I soon found out that it was most effective in its purest form (100%). I was using products that mixed shea butter with lots of other chemicals, so therefore it was not as efficient.

Receiving 100% Pure African Shea Butter from Cleopatras Choice complimentary was definitely something to look forward to. I have a few stretch marks from my last pregnancy and thought they would "magically" disappear the same way they did in my first pregnancy. This was an opportunity to see if using shea butter in its purest form would make a difference.

I have been using it twice a day and ensuring that I massage it into the skin in a circular motion. I honestly did not expect a difference because I am using this and expecting a change a year and a half after having my baby girl.

My stretch marks have since started fading slowly and the skin appearance on my tummy appears less stretched out. I have since started rubbing my feet and hands at night to improve skins look in the morning. I apply more to problem areas such as the heel and ball of my feet. This shea butter is an instant moisturizer and it is long lasting.

Another reason I love Cleopatras Choice 100% pure shea butter even more is the packaging. I have seen the shea butter being sold in the plastic container so when I received it that was what I was expecting. It comes in its hardened form in a 1 lb plastic container with a resealable lid.  For the price on Amazon (around $12) the 1 lb tub is worth every penny and more. Being that it is in its hardened form, creating natural heat by rubbing it between the palms of your hands will melt it easily for application. It will smooth on a tad bit greasy but it is absorbed quickly into the skin within the minute.

My next task is to melt it to oil form and add it to my oil mixture for my hair. If anyone has tried I would love to know what they have found. I love it for my skin and will continue using it and expecting it to be a game changer for my skin during awful winter.

Thera Vita Paradise Pure Organic Extra Virgin COCONUT OIL {Review}

When I was growing up (in the Caribbean) I knew lots about coconut oil yet I knew so little. My mom used to put it in my hair to help it grow and remain soft. As much as I knew this I never cared to learn how to make it or what made it so useful that everyone used it (I was a kid and did not care). As an adult I have become very curious with what oils do when it is in its purest form.

Coconut oil has been one of the oldest used oils that have many great benefits. When substituted in cooking it can assist in weight loss, increased energy and eating less. Applying directly to skin and hair can help to moisturize skin and reverse damaged hair.

Thera Vita introduces Paradise Pure Organic Extra Virgin Oil. It is cholesterol free, BPA free, non-GMO, non bleached and USDA certified. It comes in a plastic jar for easy storing and screw on lid for easier access. My use for it was for my skin and damage since I am on a natural path this coconut oil would help tremendously. For the times that I need to apply it directly to my scalp, I would pour it into a applicator bottle mixed with a bit of olive oil and argan oil. When being used as a sealer, I would moisturize my hair and then pour a little in the palm of hands and rub it through my entire hair to seal.

The best thing about Paradise Coconut Oil is that it contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg, alcohol, flavoring or preservatives which ensures its purity. This makes it suitable for vegetarians and/or vegans and persons with allergies. Can also be used in low carbohydrate diets, paleo and diabetic diets.

My only set back on this product is the scent, it basically has none. I grew up on a certain smell that makes me recognize coconut oil and it does not have that smell so I was disappointed. Overall it is recommended for those looking to change their diets, improve their skin and reverse damage to hair.

You can buy on Amazon* for $19.95

Ageless by Thera Vita (Review)

Ageless by Thera Vita is truly a remarkable product. This is a Hyaluronic acid serum with aloe and lavender oil, is used as an anti aging moisturizer suitable for daily use.

It is contains vitamins C, E, D & A and also infused with aloe, witch hazel, MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane derived naturally from foods like meat, seafood & fruits), jojoba oil, geranium oil & lavender oil. All of which is great to improve and enhance your natural beauty.

Lets break it down a bit:

Lavender Oil is known for its calming uses but it is also great for healing skin which has been cut, bruised or just irritated.

Jojoba Oil when used on the skin (face) controls the oil (reduces shine)

Geranium Oil is great for skin conditions like acne and helps with revitalizing skin cells for improved skin.

Aloe is my favorite in the ingredients listed in this serum. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles by increasing your skins elasticity. It is also for those with acne because it heals scars and promotes new cell growth.

With its antioxidant properties the effects of sun, smoking and pollution can be eliminated over time. Increased collagen and skin hydration for soft and beautiful skin.

It is gel based and very light on applying that you only need to use one pump or less. It is absorbed quickly into the skin and should be applied after you have cleansed and dried your face. This is perfect to use right before you apply your moisturizer and/or makeup.

Thera Vita is so positive that this product works (and has yet to prove to me otherwise cause I love how it works thus far) that they offer lifetime guarantee if you do not see results.

Find it on Amazon for only $19.95

Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Bath Scale {Review}

I am a bit old school cause I enjoy the scale with the knob that allows you to set it back to 0. I always felt that it would be more accurate if it ever was to fall out of balance. I am now testing out the WeightMaster Digital Bath Scale from Ozeri which holds up to 400lbs. This is a pretty nifty scale and was impressed with its features. Now it is just a scale but not any scale and you may be thinking what more features can a  scale have that would impress you.

  • This scale allows you to set user profiles for up to 5 persons. Select your user (1-5), input your height and then step on the scale to record your weight.
  • The scale displays your BMI (Body Mass Index) for each user every time you step on the scale. Your BMI is a calculated number using your weight and height that lets you know whether you are normal, under or over weight.
  • Every time a saved user steps on the scale and it reads the weight, you are able to see the changes in your weight, whether you have gained or lost weight. When you gain weight it glows red and if you lost weight it glows green.
  • Every time a saved user also steps on the scale, it is able to identify that specific user without having to choose which user is on the scale.

Besides the internal features of the scale, it is also built well. It is made using impact resistant glass and has non slip scratch resistant feet. It comes in both black and white so it nicely fits in with your decor.

Australian Tea Tree Oil - {Review}

I have heard so much about Tea Tree Oil, its benefits and its uses. I have used tea tree oil only when it is used in shampoos to help with itchy scalp. I have itchy dry scalp so when the opportunity came around to try 100% pure tea tree oil I jumped at it.

Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil (Available exclusively to Amazon) was nothing short of amazing. There are lots of essential oils that have been diluted to be able to sell at a cheaper price but that only cheapens the quality of the product that you buy. This is only Tea Tree Oil, nothing else. It is free of preservatives, artificial colors, fragrance, parabens, mineral oil, chemical solvents and petroleum. This is the real deal. Now I have used pure oils such as argan oil, rosehip oil & emu oil in the past but never tea tree so I was a little lost. The company however provides you with a free ebook on the uses (along with recipes) for the oil when you buy their 4oz bottle.

It comes in a brown bottle to maintain potency and has a stopper so that only one drop at a time comes through. By the way, the scent is strong, you won't miss it. That alone told me that it was not to be played with. I read that because it was my first time using I should dilute with another carrier oil such as olive oil. My use for it was to apply to my scalp to stop the constant itching. After reading the free ebook about the uses I made my own recipe. I used a combination of essential oils, using a 8oz empty bottle that was previously sterilized I added 2oz olive oil, 2oz coconut oil, 10 drops of argan oil and 5 drops of tea tree oil with 2 drops of lavender essential oil.  Shake it up and use this combination to apply directly to your scalp.

Now there are many other uses besides itchy scalp that tea tree oil is good for (as the book will go into more detail). Besides being a topical agent for your skin, it is great for hair, first aid, household cleaning agent, aromatherapy and disinfecting agent.

Take your chance with Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil with their 110% hassle free money back guarantee within 30 days.
