LITTER GENIE - Cat Litter Disposal System

As a member of the Litter Geniuses crowd on Crowdtap, I was chosen to sample the LITTER GENIE - Cat Litter Disposal System and with 2 cats I was stocked. I am used to having 1 cat around for years and recently (within the past year) my family brought in another cat name Judy. Now I have the older cat named Meimei and the younger cat named Judy which we taught to use the litter box (what a hassle).

When I received it, the first thing I thought of was our diaper genie, which was a must have for both of my kids ages 5 and 19 months. And right away I said "dang", "duh" why didnt I think of this idea. I clean out my cats litter boxes at minimum three times a week and that means my kitchen garbage pail needs to be thrown out very often. With this new Litter Genie, we are now able to throw out kitchen garbage less per week and therefore less hassle. With all the cat litter being put into this genie, makes the clean up less frustrating and the smell is closed out quickly.

The Litter Genie is actually pretty decor friendly with the white and grey color it blends nicely with my cats for sure. It comes with its own scooper and a side slot to keep it in. It is also small enough with a handle on the back to move around easily.

Taco Bell #BottledAwesome #SauceSquad

I was chosen to have a Taco Bell #BottledAwesome Home Party for the Super Bowl 2014 by Crowdtap & Kraft. Which was AWESOME!!!!!.. I received the four (4) taco bell bottled sauces recreated from their taco bell packet sauces. I got Fire Sauce, Hot Sauce, Verde Salsa & Mild Sauce along with 2 recipes to try on the pamphlet.

I will be attaching the recipes so that you are able to try also, they are quick and simple and tasty also.

The first one "Taco Bell Chunky Chicken Dip" was so quick and was prepared about 5 minutes before the game started (Broncos & Seahawks if you didnt know). I used Berkeley & Jensen Chicken Breast as my meat which is just as tasty and combined both the Fire & Hot sauce. 

Before putting in the microwave. I kept in there a total of 8 minutes but in 2 minute intervals to stir.

 Finished dip.. Everyone loved it. 

Now what is using Taco Bell Bottled Sauces without having Tacos. We have our ground beef, hard taco shells and a bunch of toppings which include velveeta shredded cheese, homemade guacamole, tomatos, lettuce and of course taco bell sauces.

Thanks to Crowdtap and Cottonelle Clean Crew I was able to try Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushables Wipes for free and share my honest opinion.

Lets begin ......

I am a fan of Cottonelle Toilet Paper and use it constantly in my home for it is the brand we love. Most of you are familiar with their toilet paper and may or may have seen that they have been promoting their flushable wipes on youtube videos which I find rather amusing.

Now in order to grasp the concept ask yourself this, why do we use wet wipes on a baby's bum? Is it because it is more precious than an adult's bum? Or is it that we want to get it the best possible clean they can get without a bath... I think it is the latter.. Now what is wrong with us feeling that same freshness after every bathroom use... So this is where we begin the talk about your bum!!!

The Cottonelle Flushable Wipes provides that extra clean feel after using the bathroom. Whether is number 1 or number 2 you will always stay fresh. I prefer using a combination of toilet paper and wipes, hey why not... If it is available to me then I shall use it, hence why I carry a portable pack in my bag. So I always feel confident about using the bathroom when on the go. Did I mention that the full size wipes come in a cute dispenser which I am hoping will come in various styles and colors. It is now in white which goes great with any décor but variety never hurts anyone.

Some have queried about the fact that the wipes do not flush easily or doesn't dissolve, I personally haven't had that problem and we use both constantly at our home. I was more than privy to test out Puma New Line - Mobium shoes and ACTV apparel from Crowdtap and Puma.

So in my package I received Puma Mobium shoes, V Neck Training Tee, Training Jacket & ACTV Long Tights.

First I want to talk to all runners, joggers or power walkers and even those who just love to workout. This is perfect for all women who want to be comfortable, be seen and be stylish.

Puma Mobium Sneakers

If you are a Puma fan like I am you will love these shoes because they are so comfy because of the cushion inside and the overall shape that perfects the fit. When you are running I can almost guarantee that you will run longer when wearing those shoes. I normally run on average a mile a day and walk about 2 miles to and from walk then go up about another dozen flight of stairs. When I first wore them I felt energized and there was an obvious pep in my step.

My favorite pieces are the ACTV tights. It has athletic tape strategically placed so that you are able to workout or run at your best therefore improving your performance. The areas it targets are your shin, the thigh, your calf, Achilles tendon and your glute. This helps you during exercise and after exercise to maximize your energy.

The jacket is pretty amazing also if you pay attention to detail while doing what it needs to. Besides being comfortable it is also breathable (if you notice the second picture featuring the underarm). It also has reflectors (sterilite) all over for running at night and also features several secure pockets for you phone or ipods while running.

Not Trivial Truvia

Many of us use sweeteners in our coffee, tea, drinks on a regular. But do we really know what we are putting in our drinks. I have heard people say it is just sugar and it is sweet but do not understand what it contains. And I also used to be one of those people. Once it sweetened my coffee or tea I was satisfied. But after doing diligent research I have found that so many sweeteners contain substances like "Aspartame" & " Saccharine".

I recently found TRUVIA Natural Sweetener which is made from the Stevia plant. I can go into a detailed description but Truvia website has a more colorful explanation for your eyes. But for a short description the Ingredients include Erythritol, Stevia Leaf Extract and Natural Flavors. A lot less complicated compared to other sweeteners don't you think.

Thanks to Crowdtap and Truvia I was able to try complimentary  and share with my family and friends what Truvia Natural Sweetener has to offer.

My favorite thing about Truvia is that it comes as Baking Blend also (Truvia mixed with sugar), which is awesome because what ever you are making will bake and brown with less calories. Here are the cupcakes I made with Truvia Baking Blend.

  I love a good cup of tea in the morning and I always tend to add lots of sugar, but now with Truvia I only use two packets of their sugar and it is just as great. I always tend to carry a couple of packets in my bag for my convenience.

TMI - City of Bones (Movie Review)

I want to start this off by saying Thank You to Crowdtap for allowing me complimentary access to this movie.

Now lets begin.

In order to appreciate a book you must first be able to put yourself in that book and let your imagination and the tale of the book become one. So I read The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones book before I went to watch the movie. I was anxious and excited that the movie was coming out since I was a fan of the book. I started wondering what effects that would come alive from my vivid imagination, what the characters would look like and would the story play out the same.

I have honestly never been a fan of books to movies because in the past I have been disappointed. And guess what, I was yet again. Despite my enthusiasm that was expressed in many forms I was truly hoping for it to be a blow out and to be able to draw in new fans. It did not live up to my expectations and not to say that it was a bad movie, it just wasn't the images that needed to come to life. However, it is definitely worth the watch. Many people who have not read the book will be drawn into the story of being a Mundane, Shadowhunter and a Downworlder. It takes a lot though to meet the standards that I have played out in my head.

All the actors did an amazing job as to bringing the characters to life especially Lily Collins as Clary. She is able to pull us into her drama, confusion, turmoil and mixed emotions without a glitch.

SUNDROP DROPPERS!!!

 

Thanks to Crowdtap I was able to share my knowledge of SunDrop soda with my friends and family.

^^^^^ This was my package I received. Lovely right.... I know. Anyway back to my #SurprisinglyGood party details. So we had the party at another party (basically an excuse for the adults to come together at a kids party). This blog is to give you my review on SunDrop soda *especially if you live in New York City*

Preparing for the party was easy because we had the music, the food, the games but not the SunDrop soda. It was sooooo difficult finding this soda in Brooklyn, NY, even going all the way out to Long Island to walmart and still not get any. This was my only problem which made the day difficult in getting pictures from my party which sucked. I waited so long for my sister in law who came from Philadelphia, PA to bring it out to us and by that time my phone died. I don't want to do a comparison based on other sodas since I am not sure what you all like. I am just going to let you know what I thought about it.

POSITIVES:

1. Taste -  It has a lemon lime flavor which is not overwhelmed by the carbonated fizz. It is not sweet but has a bang to your palette. Overall you must love the flavor because it cannot go wrong if you drink sodas.

2. Packaging -  It stands out n the shelf at any grocery store in the aisle. The colors red, green and yellow are not popular (well maybe the green), and the name is bright and bold on the can so it can't be missed.

NEGATIVES:

1. Location -  I would have loved to find it in all the supermarkets. It was so hard to get it out in the city and we get everything even those sodas I never heard of.

2. Advertising -  I honestly would love to see more advertising on tv, billboards and radio for SunDrop in the city, maybe that way more stores will carry it.

Overall, my group of friends and family enjoyed the games (Charades). Next time I must get my pictures and vine in early enough. We all had an amazing time and wish to see more from the SunDrop Family at Crowdtap. Lets get ready for another round.!!! Hip Hooray for SunDrop!!
